A new edition of  the Encyclical Letter Mater et Magistra by the Blessed John XXIII has been published by Libreria Editrice Vaticana (€ 16), on the occasion of the 
50th anniversary of the Letter.

This publication includes a preface by His Eminence Cardinal Peter K. A. Turkson, President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, and the conclusions presented by His Excellency Bishop Mario Toso, Secretary of this Dicastery, at the International Congress "Justice and Globalization, from Mater et Magistra to Caritas in Veritate", held from 16 to 18, May, 2011, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Encyclical.
